Every year on December 10th, the world observes International Human Rights Day, which serves as both a global call to action and a celebration of human dignity and equality.
This day marks the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone document that proclaimed the inalienable rights inherent to all human beings regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
At Tarangini Foundation, we stand in solidarity with the global human rights movement, recognizing that women's rights are human rights. We continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the rights of women and feminist activists in Nepal are protected, respected, and fulfilled.
The struggle for human rights is ongoing. From gender equality to economic justice, from freedom from violence to the right to participate in decision-making, we remain committed to advancing the full spectrum of human rights for all women in Nepal.
