Tarangini Foundation preserves and amplifies the voices, lived experiences, and contributions of women leaders, workers, human rights defenders, feminists, and grassroots activists driving change across Nepal.

• Document the stories, struggles, leadership, and achievements of women human rights defenders, women leaders, and grassroots activists
• Capture the lived experiences and contributions of women workers in the informal economy
• Preserve Nepal's feminist histories through oral history collection and documentation

Tarangini Foundation is committed to advancing gender equality and strengthening women's leadership by challenging patriarchal systems, unequal power structures, and harmful social norms that restrict women's rights, autonomy, and participation in decision-making.

• Prevent and respond to GBV through survivor-centered and community-based approaches
• Advocate for women's rights and gender-transformative policies and practices
• Conduct awareness programs on gender equality, GBV, and harmful traditional practices

Tarangini Foundation nurtures the next generation of feminist leaders by equipping young women with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and support needed to lead transformative social change through feminist leadership training, mentoring, and intergenerational learning.

• Deliver feminist capacity-building trainings and leadership development programs for young women
• Provide one-to-one and group mentoring by experienced feminist leaders and activists
• Build feminist perspectives on gender equality, rights, power, and social justice

Tarangini Foundation advocates for a just and equitable society where every woman's right to work is respected, protected, and fulfilled — empowering working women to raise their voices, claim their rights, and participate in decision-making.

• Advocate for the recognition, rights, dignity, and respect of women's work
• Organize and strengthen self-representative networks of domestic, agricultural, and returnee migrant women workers
• Build women's leadership, skills, and confidence through capacity-building programs

Tarangini promotes self-care and mental wellbeing through psychosocial counseling, trauma-informed care, and integrated security approaches — including a six-month Psychosocial Counseling Training for women working in communities.

• Provide psychosocial support and professional counselling for women leaders, activists, and communities
• Deliver a 6-month Psychosocial Counselling Training to strengthen local counselling capacity
• Promote self-care and well-being among Deputy Mayors, women human rights defenders, and women leaders

Tarangini Foundation advances women's health and well-being through mental health care, advocacy, and the protection of sexual and reproductive rights — ensuring women have access to quality healthcare and the information to make informed decisions about their bodies.
