Right to Work
Tarangini Foundation advocates for a just and equitable society where every woman's right to work is respected, protected, and fulfilled — empowering working women to raise their voices, claim their rights, and participate in decision-making.

About This Program
Tarangini Foundation advocates for a just and equitable society where every woman's right to work is respected, protected, and fulfilled. We believe that all women deserve safe, dignified, and equal opportunities to participate in the workforce, free from discrimination, violence, and exploitation. Through capacity-building initiatives, leadership development, skills enhancement, and awareness-raising programs, we empower working women to strengthen their capabilities, understand and claim their rights, and actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their lives. We also create platforms where women can share their experiences, amplify their voices, and collectively advocate for safer, more inclusive, and gender-responsive workplaces. Our goal is to ensure that women's work — whether paid or unpaid — is recognized, valued, and respected, while advancing workplaces and communities where women can exercise their right to work with dignity, equality, and confidence.
What We Do
Our Impact
Through our work, women workers are better informed about their rights, more confident in raising their voices, and stronger as leaders within their communities and workplaces.
By organizing women, strengthening their capacities, and advocating for policy and social change, we have contributed to create an environment of greater recognition of women's work, improved access to labor rights and local support systems, and increased public awareness of the value and dignity of women in the informal economy.
Together, we are helping build a society where every woman's work is recognized, respected, protected, and fairly rewarded.
