Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in context of Nepal
A study conducted in 2021 among 125 participants, including domestic workers, entertainment sector workers, sex workers, and conflict-affected women, found that during the COVID-19 pandemic, 28% of participants did not receive emergency contraceptive pills and 20% reported no availability of condoms. 42.4% reported no availability of permanent family planning devices, and 24.8% did not receive maternal vaccines. 28% reported no availability of ANC services, 20.8% reported no PNC services, and 26.4% reported no safe delivery services. Additionally, 31.2% reported no services for pregnancy complications and 48.8% reported no services for safe abortion.
