The Tarangini Foundation aims to conduct a research study on the psychosocial impact of flooding and landslide disasters on women in the Melamchi and Helambu areas. The specific objectives of the study include assessing the level of mental health status (stress, anxiety, and depression) among individuals affected by the flood, determining the types of coping behaviors adapted by the population, and identifying the socio-demographic characteristics and factors associated with psychological impact among the participants. The goal of this research is to understand the psychological toll of natural disasters on women and to inform disaster response and recovery efforts
